Apple Pay is Apple's way of making it easy for you to pay with your phone. You can use Apple Pay on the iPhone 6 or later and the iPad Pro 9.7-inch, the new iPad Pro 10.5-inch, iPod touch (6th generation) or later, and Apple Watch.

1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.


2. Tap the Apple Pay button to add a card or store card to your Wallet account.


3. At the store, hold your iPhone near the contactless reader for about a second and then tap "Use Touch ID" if you have an iOS device like an iPhone 6S or later or an iPad Pro 9.7-inch or later; otherwise, tap "Use Passcode" if you have an older iOS device like an iPhone SE or iPod touch (6th generation).


4. Enter your PIN number if prompted by the store clerk when you make a purchase with Apple Pay in person at a store—or scan your fingerprint if you have Touch ID enabled on your device (it may ask if you want to enroll

You can add the feature to your iPhone by going to the App Store and downloading the Apple Pay app. Once you've installed it, open it up and follow the prompts to set up your card details and choose a security code (this will be different depending on whether or not you have an iPhone 6 or later).


You can also add Apple Pay to Apple Watch. Just open up the Settings app and select Wallet & Apple Pay. Then select Add Credit or Debit Card and follow the prompts to add your card details—you'll need your security code if you don't already have one saved in your phone.
